Business & Industry Loan Guarantee

Uses:
Land and building acquisition, construction, equipment, and working capital.

Criteria:
Available only outside areas of 50,000 population or more. 25% equity required for start-ups and 10% equity for existing companies.

Maximum Loan Amount:
80% guarantee up to $5 million. 70% guarantee up to $10 million.

Interest Rates:
Negotiated with the financial institution making the loan.

Guarantee Terms:
7 years working capital, 15 years equipment, 30 years real estate
