Medical management software manufacturer Landacorp has tapped CSU, Chico as a source for top computer personnel. "Our most outstanding interns become permanent employees," says CEO Stephen Kay.

Ken Grossman, CEO of Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, says his business would be welcome just about anywhere because it has distribution points located in 48 states. Grossman calls Butte County home because, "the overall business climate is good and we enjoy a high quality-of-life."
